There’s something special about seeing a printed story come to life beyond the pages of a book. That’s exactly what happened in Alamo City Park in Crockett County, Tennessee, with the opening of the community’s first Storybook Trail.

Graphic Creations was proud to play a part in bringing this unique project to life by designing the storybook panels and coordinating the printing and shipping logistics for the trail.

Bringing Reading Outdoors

The Storybook Trail gives families and children an opportunity to enjoy a favorite story while exploring the outdoors. As visitors walk along the trail, they can stop at each panel to read another page of the story, combining literacy, recreation, and time spent together as a family.

For communities, projects like this create experiences that can be enjoyed by people of all ages—and they offer a creative way to encourage children to read and explore.

From Design to Installation

Behind every great community project is a lot of planning. Our team worked on the design of the storybook panels and helped coordinate the logistics needed to get the finished pieces where they needed to go.

From the initial design to the final printed panels, it was exciting to see the project move from an idea on a screen to something families can physically experience at Alamo City Park.

A Story That Will Keep Growing

One of the most exciting parts of the project is that this Storybook Trail won’t stop with its first book.

The community secured support from the City Council to fund new storybook panels quarterly. This means the trail can continue to offer new stories and experiences for families throughout the year.

We’re looking forward to seeing what book comes next and helping bring future stories to life!

Print That Makes an Impact

At Graphic Creations, we believe print can do more than promote a business. It can educate, connect people, celebrate communities, and create experiences.

We’re grateful to have been part of a project that combines creativity, literacy, and community—and we’re excited to see the impact the Storybook Trail will have on families in Crockett County for years to come.
